After a career in metal sales, Julie Menant, a native of Sèvres, has realized her dream of opening a bookstore. Following training and internships, she took over L'Anagramme des jours, an emblematic bookstore in the town, previously run by Pascale and Marie.
The new owner plans to expand the generalist bookstore, which offers fiction, graphic novels, manga, and children's literature. She intends to add sections dedicated to feminism and ecology, as well as a stationery section. In collaboration with Camille, an employee since 2024, literary encounters, a book club, children's workshops, and storytelling sessions will be organized.
Julie Menant expresses her delight in settling in Sèvres and has received a warm welcome from the residents. She emphasizes the importance of literature, even for the youngest, and encourages giving books to children for their invaluable cultural richness.
The bookstore L’Anagramme des jours is located at 114bis, Grande Rue in Sèvres. Opening hours are Monday from 10 AM to 3 PM and Tuesday to Saturday from 10 AM to 7 PM. Orders can be placed via email, phone, in-store, or on placedeslibraires.fr.
