The initiative relies on accessible actions for everyone, such as using a reusable water bottle, reusable containers for shopping, preparing anti-waste meals, or limiting single-use products. Each week will bring new challenges.
The objective is twofold: to take action and understand the environmental and health benefits of these practices through educational content. A dedicated WhatsApp community will allow teams to exchange ideas and follow weekly challenges and workshops.
Participants will be divided into teams to accumulate points. Specific workshops, including an anti-waste cooking workshop on November 18th and a workshop on recovery materials for Christmas on December 2nd, will offer additional points. Online registrations are open until November 1st.
The closing ceremony and award presentation will take place on Saturday, December 12th at the town hall. The deputy mayor, Arthur Beaurepaire, responsible for Ecological Transition and soft mobility, emphasizes the importance of this challenge in encouraging citizen action for the planet.
