The SIAAP has inaugurated a new 'Training Sewer', an innovative training tool designed to prepare its agents for emergency interventions and the specificities of working in confined spaces.

This unique facility faithfully reproduces the conditions of an underground sanitation environment. It allows trainees to familiarize themselves with technical constraints, acquire appropriate professional practices, and develop essential reflexes for their safety and that of their colleagues. The mandatory renewal of the CATEC® certificate (Certificate of Aptitude for Working in Confined Spaces), which affects nearly 400 SIAAP agents every four years, is thus strengthened by these new installations.
The 'Training Sewer' complements an already substantial technical platform, which includes a mini-factory and hydraulic and electrical test benches. These infrastructures enable SIAAP to offer continuous training aligned with operational realities and the needs of its teams, also contributing to strengthening its attractiveness as a benchmark employer in the sanitation sector.
By placing prevention at the heart of training and skills development, SIAAP reaffirms its commitment to the safety of its agents and the quality of its services.
