The "Émergence Recherche" "Early Career" call for projects at Université Paris Cité aims to support the launch of new research themes and the execution of pilot studies. The objective is to strengthen the research dynamics within the university.
For the 2026 edition, 167 applications were eligible. Following evaluation by the research commissions of the faculties and an interfaculty ad hoc commission, 53 projects were selected, representing a 32% selection rate.
The total budget allocated for these 53 projects amounts to €1,794,294. The distribution by faculty is as follows: 20 projects in Health (€730,799), 19 projects in Sciences (€622,651), 10 projects in Societies and Humanities (€312,237), 3 interfaculty projects (€97,607), and 1 project at the Institut Pasteur (€31,000).
These funds are intended to yield preliminary results that can then serve as a basis for more comprehensive research projects, to be submitted to national or international calls for proposals.
