The 38th award ceremony for young practitioners in training took place on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at the premises of the National Academy of Medicine. Presided over by Prof. Marie Essig, dean of the UFR Simone-Veil-Santé, this ceremony honored several laureates.
Among the distinctions awarded were the prizes for the top student in national medical examinations, and the top students in the pharmacy and dentistry residency competitions. Also recognized were the winners of the medal competition in biology, surgery, medicine, and dentistry, organized annually by the AP-HP. This competition offers final-year residents the opportunity for an additional year of research.
The ceremony also celebrated practitioners in training from Southeast Asia and China, as well as foreign residents of Paris hospitals (REHP). This program, funded by the AP-HP headquarters, plays a significant role in developing international medical cooperation.
Furthermore, three practitioners were recognized for their scientific work by the Collège de médecine des hôpitaux de Paris. The event highlighted the commitment of these practitioners to medical research.
The organization of this ceremony was managed by the medical affairs department in coordination with the international relations department.
