In partnership with the associations la Vélocyclerie de Nemours and la Recyclerie du Gâtinais, this event is part of the agglomeration's initiative to encourage cycling and develop active mobility within its territory.
The market will feature second-hand bicycles refurbished by partner associations, offering an opportunity to acquire a suitable bike while promoting reuse. Visitors can also bring their own bicycles to participate in co-repair workshops, learn bike maintenance, and perform minor repairs. Spare parts will be available on-site.
For those interested in exploring new ways to travel, electric-assist bicycles (e-bikes) will be available for test rides. The event aims to showcase cycling as a practical, economical, and sustainable mode of transportation.
Open to all, whether regular cyclists, occasional riders, or simply the curious, this weekend will be an opportunity to discover, exchange, and find solutions tailored to individual needs.
The market will take place on Saturday, October 10, from 10 AM to 6 PM, and on Sunday, October 11, from 1 PM to 6 PM at the Gymnase André Poirier.
