The municipality highlights the current economic challenges, such as rising fuel, grocery, and electricity costs, impacting daily life. It also points to the deteriorating working and pay conditions for public sector employees across various services that maintain the local public service.
The town, already facing a 22% decrease in state financial allocations, declares its support for public servants who are 'attacked for convenience.' This closure is framed as a symbolic gesture acknowledging the essential role of local public service workers and rejecting further austerity measures that would affect residents' services.
