The Bussy-Saint-Georges branch of the Secours Populaire has launched its annual collection of new games and toys, 'le Père Noël vert' (Green Santa Claus), running until November 30. Donations can be dropped off at the local center at 4 passage Carter on Thursday and Saturday mornings from 9 AM to 11 AM.

For 50 years, the 'Père Noël vert' initiative has aimed to support 'Père Noël rouge' (Santa Claus) to ensure no one is forgotten during the holidays. The association invites the public to participate in this moment of sharing and solidarity.
Every contribution counts. Donors are asked to choose a new or very gently used game, toy, or book. Drop-offs are accepted at the Secours populaire location, at 4 passage Carter (next to the Mairie annexe), on Thursday or Saturday mornings between 9 AM and 11 AM.
The collected toys will be distributed to children from families supported by the association. Some will also be sold at low prices during a sale on December 13, to fund cultural and leisure activities.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, the Secours populaire hopes to offer more than just a gift, but also smiles, joy, and precious memories to children.
