Ugo Pezzetta, Cédric Thomas, and Franck Riester visited the construction site of the future Sports Hall in Coulommiers on Friday, October 2nd. This structuring project for the area will open at the end of 2027.

On Friday, October 2nd, Ugo Pezzetta, President of the Agglomeration Coulommiers Pays de Brie, Cédric Thomas, Vice-President in charge of cultural and sports facilities, and Franck Riester, Mayor of Coulommiers, visited the construction site of the future Sports Hall. They were accompanied by local elected officials and the presidents of the associations that will use the facility.
This visit allowed for an update on the progress of the work and a look at the next steps for this structuring project for the region, ideally located opposite the school campus (currently undergoing renovation).
By the end of 2027, this new infrastructure will offer the 2,000 members of the concerned sports associations and high school students a modern, functional facility suitable for practicing numerous sports disciplines. It will include a multi-sport hall (basketball, volleyball, handball), a dojo for judo, a specific gymnastics hall, a table tennis hall, a fencing hall, and a climbing wall.
This project illustrates the commitment of the Agglomeration and the City of Coulommiers to sport, youth, and the attractiveness of the territory.
