The recruitment campaign aims to select 18 new members to succeed the current ones whose mandate ends in September 2026. Outgoing members may reapply.
This initiative, open to Esbly residents from CM1 to 3rd grade, aims to introduce young people to local democracy and encourage their active participation in their community. The goal is to integrate youth representatives into local life and foster their involvement.
The CMJ will enable young people to collaborate on common projects and invest themselves as citizens to contribute to the commune's evolution. They will be able to lead projects of their choice from start to finish in collaboration with the Municipality, and participate in communal activities or relevant commissions, particularly those concerning youth.
The CMJ will consist of 18 members appointed for a two-year term: 8 members elected from elementary school (4 CM1 students and 4 CM2 students), 8 members of middle school age (2 per grade, from 6th to 3rd, selected by application), and 2 high school students (selected by application).
For middle and high school students, the application form can be downloaded and must be submitted before October 5th to the Town Hall or the Youth Space.
