The town of Lagny-sur-Marne has announced temporary adjustments to its after-school services for Tuesday, September 29th, following a national strike. Due to agent mobilization, a minimum reception service will be implemented at the following school sites: Delambre Nursery School, Jean Macé Nursery and Elementary School, Leclerc Nursery School, and Orme-Bossu Nursery School.
For these schools benefiting from the minimum service, specific hours must be observed. Morning reception will be strictly from 8:20 AM to 8:30 AM. No children will be accepted after 8:30 AM to allow staff to organize the system. In the evening, children must be picked up at 4:30 PM, with no after-school care available beyond this time. Regular morning and evening after-school services are canceled for this day.
The municipality has also decided to maintain midday services, despite significant constraints related to the strike. This service will be provided with available staff and may operate under adapted conditions. Families have the option to exceptionally cancel their canteen reservations via the online citizen portal. Those keeping their children at home will not be charged.
