The Town of Magny le Hongre invites runners to the 9th edition of La Hongrémanienne on Saturday, October 10th. The event offers a 16 km course through Magny le Hongre, Saint-Germain-sur-Morin, and Bailly-Romainvilliers, including a section of Deloitte University. This course is described as technical and nature-oriented, winding through woods, fields, and country paths.
Beyond the sporting aspect, La Hongrémanienne aims to be a friendly and festive event. After the race, participants can collect their medals and gifts before enjoying a well-deserved paella accompanied by a DJ. Osteopaths from the École Supérieure d’Ostéopathie de Champs-sur-Marne will be present to offer treatments, and a photobooth will be available to capture memories of the event.
This year introduces several new features. For Nordic walking enthusiasts, the association Val d’Europe Oxygène is organizing a 12 km route in the morning at 9:30 AM. Registration and information for this event are available via a dedicated link.
La Hongrémanienne is partnering with Breast Cancer Awareness Month (Octobre Rose), donating a portion of its proceeds to the fight against breast cancer, benefiting the associations AVACS and Ligue contre le cancer. Additionally, the Town of Magny le Hongre is organizing a Color run on the same day, Saturday, October 10th at 9:30 AM, for those who wish to participate in a solidarity action without the competitive aspect of the trail.
