Under clear skies, the town of Nemours and its surroundings vibrated with solidarity on Saturday, October 10th. No fewer than 300 people laced up their sneakers for the traditional solidarity walk, an event dedicated to raising awareness and fighting breast cancer.
The route, stretching from Nemours to Saint-Pierre-lès-Nemours, and concluding in Bagneaux-sur-Loing, was marked by great collective energy and a spirit of fraternity. Participants, dressed in pink, walked the paths in a friendly and committed atmosphere.
The organization warmly thanks everyone who contributed to the success of this morning: participants, mobilized associations, dedicated volunteers, health professionals, elected officials, as well as partners and municipal services of the town.
Beyond the event itself, the key message of Pink October resonates: prevention and early detection are crucial. Breast cancer is curable in 9 out of 10 cases when detected in time. Continued awareness is therefore essential.
