On the occasion of Pink October, the town of Saint-Pathus is organizing a solidarity sports event on Sunday, October 25, 2026 at the René Pluvinage gymnasium.

The municipality of Saint-Pathus, in partnership with the association Debout avec Mylène and the association AVACS (VAincre le Cancer Solidairement), invites the public to a sports and awareness event for breast cancer screening. The event will take place on Sunday, October 25th.
From 10:00 AM, the René Pluvinage gymnasium will open its doors for on-site registrations, which will continue until 10:50 AM. At 11:00 AM, a one-hour muscle strengthening class set to music will begin, led by a local sports coach. This class is designed to be accessible to all levels, with the aim of gathering, moving together, and sharing a friendly moment for a worthy cause.
The solidarity participation fee is a minimum of €2, as part of Pink October. Additional donations are also welcome. All funds collected will be donated to the AVACS association. Payments can be made on-site, in cash or by bank card.
Beyond the sports activity, this morning will also be dedicated to information and exchange. Professionals will be present to inform the public about breast cancer prevention and screening and to answer questions. A refreshment stand will also be available on-site.
Pre-registration is recommended by sending an email to com2@saint-pathus.fr with the following information: Last Name – First Name – Age. On-site registration will still be possible, subject to availability.
Participants are asked to add a touch of pink to their attire (clothing, accessory, cap, scarf) to show support for Pink October.
