On the occasion of the National Resilience Day, an alert message will be broadcast via the FR-Alert system on October 13 in certain areas of Seine-et-Marne as part of a test.

On October 13, the Prefecture of Seine-et-Marne will conduct an awareness campaign for the FR-Alert system. As part of this initiative, an alert message will be broadcast to mobile phones between 09:00 and 10:00 within the designated zone.
This exercise primarily targets areas covered by a Specific Intervention Plan (PPI) around high-threshold SEVESO classified industrial sites. A total of 56 municipalities in the department are included in this test perimeter.
Although the municipality of Servon does not have any SEVESO-classified establishments and is not directly at risk, the range of mobile phone relay antennas may cause the FR-Alert signal to extend beyond the test perimeter, potentially reaching neighboring communes or sectors. Therefore, residents may receive this alert message.
It is important to note that this is a purely technical exercise. No safety precautions are required from the public. The broadcast message will clearly state "EXERCICE".
Authorities remind the public not to overload emergency service lines (17, 18, 112) during this drill.
