Several renovation and safety projects are underway in Livry-Gargan, affecting major public facilities such as the Vauban school, the sports park, as well as road and environmental infrastructure.

The transformation project for the Vauban district, relaunched in April 2026, is actively progressing. The extension of the kindergarten is now weather-tight, and interior work continues. The new leisure center is also undergoing insulation, partitioning, and network installation. These buildings are expected to be delivered in 2027, followed by the creation of green Oasis courtyards in 2028.
The development works on Robert Schuman and Lucien Michard avenues have led to the resurfacing of roads, sidewalks, and public lighting, with the planting of 32 trees. On Robert Schuman avenue, bus stops have been brought up to standard, and two cycle paths will be created. Lucien Michard alley is seeing its parking reorganized and conduits for video protection installed.
At the Alfred-Marcel-Vincent sports park, the main field has been undergoing rehabilitation since September 2026. Subsoil anomalies required drilling and concrete injections to fill cavities. Drainage and vegetation cover will then be redone, with new turf laid in spring 2027. Reopening is scheduled for September 2027, with an estimated cost of 1.3 million euros.
Works related to geothermal energy have been ongoing since September 7, 2026, in several streets (Rabelais, Joseph-Noize, RD 933, Édouard-Herriot). Intervention in François-Villon street will begin in November and is expected to conclude in January 2027.
At Bois Picot, in the Bellevue sector, safety works have been carried out since October 19, 2026, following the discovery of dangerous subsidence zones. After pruning and clearing, a fence will be installed to prohibit access to the site. The cost of this operation exceeds 100,000 euros.
The restructuring of the water feature in Lefèvre park will begin in November 2026. The project will include the reconstruction of the banks, dredging of the pond, and the creation of a large marshland favorable to biodiversity. A conservation fishing will precede the draining. Water oxygenation will be improved, and pathways will be redeveloped. A pontoon will be created behind the château and the rock fountain. The park will remain accessible via the entrance on Albert-Camus street until the end of the works, scheduled for spring 2027. This project, estimated at 1.4 million euros, receives support from the Region (€270,000), the State (€155,000), and the Métropole du Grand Paris (€500,000).
