By spring 2027, several urban development projects are nearing completion across the Plaine Commune territory, including street renovations, new sports facilities, and enhanced living environments.

Several municipalities within Plaine Commune will soon see the completion of various development projects, ranging from urban renovations to the creation of new facilities. These transformations aim to improve residents' quality of life.
In Stains, Jean Durand street is undergoing renovations. Following the undergrounding of overhead networks in September, lighting and roadways will be redone in November, with the goal of creating a calmer and greener street. Urban furniture installation is planned for February 2027.
In Saint-Denis – Pierrefitte, the Marcel Cachin – Madeleine Riffaud park is getting new sports facilities. A fitness and street workout area, a 3x3 basketball court, a One Wall court, and a new football pitch will soon be available. A brand-new covered skate park for all levels will be delivered in spring 2027.
In Épinay-sur-Seine, works on the Chemin du Gros Buisson begin in 2027, including the creation of a square. In La Courneuve, Robespierre street will host a forecourt for the Robespierre school and a public space accessible to all during 2027.
The future aquatic center in Villetaneuse, built on the site of the former municipal pool, is scheduled for completion in 2027. It will offer two pools, a wellness area with sauna and hammam, as well as an outdoor terrace and a green solarium.
In L'Île-Saint-Denis, the Étienne Dahou square and the path along the Moulin quay are nearing completion this autumn, with low-lying, bushy, and climbing plants, as well as fruit trees for birds, combining user comfort and greening.
Finally, in Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, Marie passage has been developed to favor pedestrians, with traffic limited to 20 km/h, upgraded sidewalks and roadway, and increased greenery. Part of the removed paving stones will be reused for the redevelopment of the town hall forecourt in Épinay-sur-Seine.
