Born in Saint-Denis in 1995 and arriving in Tremblay-en-France at the age of two, Aboubacar Mihidjay founded the association 'Sentiers de gloire' in January 2025, with the ambition to give a voice to the voiceless and foster youth development.

Coming from a family of eight children, Aboubacar Mihidjay grew up in Tremblay, frequenting the Mikado social center. After obtaining a scientific baccalaureate at Léonard-de-Vinci high school and playing handball, he turned to law studies after failing to get into medicine. He earned a master's degree in law from Villetaneuse, while also working odd jobs, with the goal of becoming a lawyer.
In 2022, he led the citizen work sites, a program for 17-year-olds who perform public utility actions in exchange for a financial reward. This experience led him to want to create a structure dedicated to youth. 'It, I would say, changed my life!', he confides.
The association 'Sentiers de gloire', co-founded in January 2025, takes its name from a song in the film Les Choristes. It aims to guide everyone towards fulfillment and emancipation. The association has already organized introductory law workshops, a subject that Mihidjay considers essential for everyone.
On August 23rd, during the Estivale festival, he had the idea to organize a giant dictation at the urban park of Tremblay, open to children and parents. An event that allowed them to share a fun activity before the start of the school year. Additionally, the association offered a general knowledge quiz show, an unusual initiative in the town.
Aboubacar Mihidjay plans to organize a general knowledge competition in all neighborhoods of the town, with a grand finale to create a fraternal atmosphere. In the meantime, he hopes to have passed the Bar exam, emphasizing that 'To be a lawyer is to carry the voice of those who no longer have one. That is the nobility of this profession'.
A core group of mature young people is ready to take the reins of the association, ensuring the continuity of the actions led by Mihidjay.
