The Jacques Tati cinema kicks off its season from October 2nd to 5th with a rich program and a single ticket price of €4.50 for all events.
The season will open on Friday, October 2nd at 8:30 PM with a screening of Napoli New York, a drama by Gabriele Salvatores. This film, based on an unproduced script by Federico Fellini and Tullio Pinelli, tells the story of two Neapolitan children seeking to escape post-war poverty in New York.
On Saturday, October 3rd, at 6:00 PM, the cinema will present its 2026-2027 season lineup. Organizers invite the public to meet the team, discover upcoming films, and share programming ideas. The evening continues at 8:30 PM with the preview of the French comedy Ni vue ni connue by Marc Fitoussi, starring Isabelle Huppert and Sandrine Kiberlain.
On Sunday, October 4th at 2:30 PM, it's time for the children's cinema sessions with the animated film Le Corset by Louis Clichy (ages 7+). The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Chloë Aubert, the film's animation director.
Finally, on Monday, October 5th at 8:15 PM, the documentary La Vie est à nous by Jean Renoir will be shown, preceded by the short film Grèves d’occupations. These works will mark the opening of the cine-club season hosted by Tangui Perron, a researcher and author.
The Playtime auditorium is now equipped with a new Christie CP4420m-RGBH laser projector, promising an image that is as brilliant but finer and more beautiful, according to Gwenael Euzen, technical manager.
