The municipality of Asnières-sur-Oise has completed a week of work on the Gueule à Vaches communal land, removing 240 m³ of waste to restore its natural appearance.

A large-scale cleanup operation has concluded on the communal land known as Gueule à Vaches in Asnières-sur-Oise. For a week, teams worked to restore a more natural appearance to the site, extracting a total of 240 m³ of waste.
The removed materials consist of 80 m³ of various waste, including plastics, containers, insulation materials, and construction debris, as well as 160 m³ of demolition materials such as rubble, concrete, bricks, stones, and soil mixed with lime.
These accumulations, present over the years, necessitated intervention. The progressive degradation of some materials and the land's location within the water catchment area, where protecting water resources is a major concern, motivated this action.
This operation was made possible thanks to the financial support of the Île-de-France Region, obtained after the municipality submitted a grant application.
This project marks a significant step in the restoration of this communal space. The reflection now continues on how to sustainably preserve the site, prevent new illegal dumping, and study appropriate landscape enhancement possibilities.
The municipality wishes to thank the Île-de-France Region for its financial support in this project.
