Boulevard du Golf, connecting Cergy and Courdimanche, will undergo redevelopment to facilitate cycling and walking. The project, led by the Cergy-Pontoise Agglomeration Community in collaboration with the two municipalities, includes the creation of a continuous and secure cycle link.
The project involves the implementation of a bidirectional cycle lane and improvements to pedestrian pathways, which will be separated from the cycle lane for better coexistence. The southern sidewalk will be renovated and brought up to accessibility standards for people with reduced mobility (PRM). Specific arrangements include reorganizing the Golf roundabout and adapting the bridge over the railway lines, incorporating separate cycle lanes and sidewalks. Pedestrian crossings will also be made more visible and secure.
Particular attention is given to the landscape and environmental aspects. Existing trees will be preserved as much as possible, complemented by new plantings. Part of the roundabout's roadway will be de-impermeabilized to promote rainwater infiltration, using green spaces and swales.
Construction is scheduled to begin in December 2026 and is expected to conclude before summer 2027. The total investment amounts to €1,450,000 including tax. The timeline may be adjusted based on construction progress and weather conditions.
To present the project in detail, the Agglomeration is organizing an urban walk on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The meeting point is on the path facing the entrance to the Domaine du Golf, Clos de Chiberta in Courdimanche. Residents are invited to participate, ask questions, and learn about the planned developments.
