On Tuesday, November 3rd, the CM1-CM2 class in Les Alluets-le-Roi met Jam, a press cartoonist for the association Cartooning for Peace, as part of a visit to the media library.

Following the exhibition "I.A. Droits devants !" at the La Parenthèse media library, the students engaged with Jam and Solenn, an association member. They discussed the vital role of press cartoonists and the dangers they face in dictatorships.
Jam, who fled Iran as a political refugee, shared his personal journey. The group then focused on the significance of symbols and clichés in press drawing.
The afternoon session addressed the current role of artificial intelligence, followed by an activity where students created their own press cartoons. The day concluded with a popular autograph session for the young participants.
The event was considered highly enriching for both the children and the adults involved.
