Despite an evolving drought situation in Val-d'Oise, the municipality of Ézanville remains under an enhanced alert, imposing water usage restrictions.

The municipality of Ézanville, located in the 'Plaine de France et Parisis' watershed, remains subject to the enhanced alert threshold. This decision follows the new prefectural decree dated September 30, 2026, maintaining water restriction measures.
For individuals, several restrictions are in effect. Watering vegetable gardens is prohibited between 9 AM and 8 PM. Watering lawns, flower beds, wooded areas, and private green spaces is forbidden. Filling and emptying private swimming pools over 1 m³ are also prohibited, except for topping up and initial filling if construction began before the first restrictions.
Washing vehicles at home is prohibited. However, it remains possible at professional stations equipped with water-saving devices or high-pressure washing systems. Work on watercourses must be postponed until higher flow rates return, except for emergency works authorized by the water police.
The City of Ézanville calls on all citizens to respect these measures and to be mindful of their water consumption.
