Two prefectural decrees were published on October 14, 2026, to regulate the holiday period. The first (Decree 2026-1428) prohibits the retail sale and private transport of domestic fuels, flammable gas, and petroleum products in any transformable container.
The second decree (2026-1429) concerns the acquisition and possession of entertainment fireworks and pyrotechnic articles within the Val d’Oise department. The transfer, whether paid or free, and private transport of these items (categories F2 to F4, T2, and P2) are also forbidden during the same period.
These provisions do not apply to qualified professionals. Authorities urge vigilance and thank the public for their understanding and cooperation.
