As part of the Blue Week, the municipality of Saint-Leu-la-Forêt and the Pôle itinérant en Val d’Oise (PIVO) are pleased to host the company La Cour Singulière for a week of unique activities and intergenerational exchanges. The show will feature Josette, a lively octogenarian, and her faithful cat Mustapha.
The program of events in the town includes several appointments: on Tuesday, October 6th at 4:40 PM, at the Place de la Mairie, a race and fun games with Josette and her friend Jules; on Wednesday, October 7th at 11:30 AM, at the market and Place de la Mairie, Josette will do her shopping; on Thursday, October 8th at 4:00 PM, at the EHPAD Les Tamaris, a musical encounter over tea and an accordion.
The grand closing show, titled "Josette et Mustapha", will take place on Friday, October 9th at 5:30 PM at the Parc du Charme au Loup. In case of rain, the show will be moved under the courtyard of the Marcel Pagnol school. This performance aims to be a poetic and sensitive interlude.
In parallel, the company offers a workshop to introduce the creation and manipulation of life-size puppets, open to everyone from 9 to 99 years old. This workshop will take place over four complementary sessions: Tuesday, October 6th (10 AM-12 PM and 2 PM-4 PM), Wednesday, October 7th (2 PM-6 PM), Thursday, October 8th (10 AM-12 PM and 1:30 PM-3:30 PM), and Friday, October 9th (4:30 PM-5:30 PM). Attendance at all four sessions is mandatory for a complete immersion. The workshop is held at the EHPAD Les Tamaris in partnership with its residents.
