With an estimated 12,000 deaths during the 2025-2026 flu season and 17,000 the previous season, influenza remains a significant health risk, particularly for the elderly, individuals with chronic illnesses, and pregnant women. While barrier gestures help limit virus circulation, vaccination remains the most effective way to prevent severe forms of the disease.
Assurance Maladie is conducting a national information campaign, supplemented by targeted follow-ups. In Sarcelles, municipal services, neighborhood centers, social centers, and local actors play a key role in raising awareness among residents and facilitating access to prevention. Various communication tools, such as posters, dynamic city signs, the municipal website, and social media, will be used to relay this initiative.
“"Together, let's strengthen prevention as close as possible to the residents of Sarcelles to better protect vulnerable people against the flu."
To support the campaign, the website ameli.fr and the health directory annuairesante.ameli.fr allow identification of authorized vaccination professionals. The CCAS of Sarcelles can be reached at 01 34 38 20 09.
