The CPAM of Val-d'Oise is mobilizing in November in Villiers-le-Bel to raise awareness about colorectal cancer screening and inform residents about the procedures.

As part of the organized screening campaign for colorectal cancer, the CPAM of Val-d’Oise will hold information sessions in several pharmacies in Villiers-le-Bel. These meetings will allow residents to interact with CPAM teams, learn about screening, and for eligible individuals, collect a screening kit directly at the pharmacy.
Colorectal cancer, affecting the colon and rectum, can develop without initial symptoms. Regular screening, recommended every two years for men and women aged 50 to 74, is therefore crucial. This simple, quick, and painless test detects invisible blood in the stool. When detected early, colorectal cancer is curable in 9 out of 10 cases.
CPAM teams will be available in Villiers-le-Bel on the following dates:
- Wednesday November 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Pharmacie Sedki, place Victor-Hugo.
- Thursday, November 5, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Pharmacie des Charmettes, 74 avenue Pierre-Sémard.
- Monday, November 16, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Pharmacie de la Mairie, 38 avenue de la République.
- Tuesday, November 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Pharmacie Molière, 18 allée Pierre-Corneille.
These sessions offer an opportunity to learn about screening and collect a kit if you are eligible.
