This Thursday, November 5, the City of Joinville-le-Pont reaffirms its commitment against school bullying with the release of an awareness video. This initiative, led by Sacha France Albertini, municipal councilor in charge of youth citizenship and the fight against bullying, was produced with the participation of young people from the youth service.
The video aims to convey an essential message: in the face of bullying, everyone has a role to play. It illustrates, through a situational scenario, the daily life of a young person facing mockery and isolation, emphasizing that sometimes minimized behaviors can have significant consequences. The intervention of a witness, support for the victim, and accompaniment to a trusted adult are highlighted as key actions.
Sacha France Albertini wished to make bullying prevention a concrete issue for adolescents. The fight against bullying is presented as a collective responsibility. The video reminds everyone of their roles: the victim has the right to talk about it and get help, the witness can support the person concerned and alert an adult, and those who initiate these behaviors can become aware of their consequences and change their attitude.
This collective mobilization in Joinville aims to raise awareness among young people and families, encourage speaking out, and emphasize the importance of solidarity among adolescents. The initiative is part of the City's commitment to youth citizenship, asserting that every young person should be able to grow up without fear of being humiliated, rejected, or bullied.
