Around thirty children from the Charmilles elementary school participated in a bread-making workshop in Mandres-les-Roses, organized by La Mandrine, discovering the key steps of the baker's profession.

In partnership with the leisure center of the Charmilles elementary school, the association La Mandrine organized a bread-making workshop that brought together about thirty children. This initiative aimed to introduce young participants to the different stages of bread making, from measuring ingredients to kneading the dough and shaping the loaves.
The activity proved to be a fun and enriching experience, allowing the children to learn about artisanal know-how and the specific gestures of the baker's trade. At the end of the day, the young apprentice bakers were able to collect their creations, fresh from the oven and ready to be tasted!
The City of Mandres-les-Roses warmly thanked the artisans of La Mandrine for their involvement and for sharing their passion and expertise with the children. Given the success of this initiative, discussions are underway to repeat the experience with other local artisans.
