As part of its consultation process, the municipality of Vitry-sur-Seine invites its residents to a virtual meeting this Wednesday, October 14th at 7:30 PM. The aim is to offer scientific, economic, and health insights regarding the Thermo-sur-Seine project.
An independent scientific committee, comprising three specialists, will answer citizens' questions live. These questions can be submitted via the city's Facebook and Youtube channels, as well as those already collected beforehand on the website thermoconcerte.org and in the consultation notebooks.
The scientific committee includes Sylvie Bortoli, a research engineer at Inserm, specializing in the effects of environmental contaminants on health; Tibor Sarcey, an economist whose work focuses on wealth distribution and the economic power of large corporations; and Gilles Foret, an associate professor at Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC) and an expert in particulate pollution in the Paris region.
Leveraging their respective expertise, the speakers will provide answers to address the concerns raised during the consultation, aiming for a better understanding of the project's scientific, environmental, health, and economic implications.
Interested individuals can visit the website thermoconcerte.org for more information on the initiative and participation details.
