The Town of Achères is seeking the opinion of its residents regarding the possible introduction of free-floating electric scooters and bicycles, as part of a one-year trial.

This service, already available in several municipalities within the Grand Paris Seine & Oise (GPS&O) Urban Community, aims to facilitate short-distance travel, such as reaching a train station or commuting to work. The offer, provided by a new operator, Voi Technology, aligns with the development of alternative mobility and would integrate Achères into a broader territorial dynamic.
Specific measures are planned to manage the service: safety awareness campaigns, helmet distribution, service restricted to adults, and an improved geolocation system to manage parking and limit abandonment in public spaces.
Before any decision is made, the Town wishes to understand residents' expectations and interest in these new modes of transport. A survey is accessible via the municipal application « Achères et vous ».
Participation in this consultation will help assess the interest of Achères residents and inform the decision-making process for a potential service deployment. The « Achères et vous » application is available for free on smartphones.
