Led by the Fondation Falret with support from the Yvelines Department, this initiative aimed to restore confidence, strengthen bonds with their children, and foster autonomy. Participants, often marked by precariousness, family breakdowns, or violence, benefited from a program combining sports, well-being, and creativity.
Boxing sessions, organized with the Versailles Boxing Club, were a key step in overcoming apprehension and building pride. An encounter with French boxing champion Wassila Lkhadiri inspired the participants, highlighting the importance of perseverance.
Aquatic discovery activities at the Montbauron swimming pool allowed mothers to share moments of complicity with their children, strengthening parent-child bonds and fostering solidarity among them.
Cooking workshops provided a space for expression and learning essential daily skills for gaining independence. These convivial sessions facilitated the sharing of know-how and strengthened relationships.
This program marked a significant step in personal reconstruction, helping young women face the future with greater serenity and regain their agency. The Yvelines Department supports such projects through the ChampYons Santé initiative.
