Several convivial, supportive, and enriching events are scheduled throughout this week dedicated to inclusion.
On Wednesday, November 11, the Lions Club Yvelines Heraldic is organizing a swimathon "Plouf" from 9 am to 6 pm at the Marly-le-Roi swimming pool. Donations will go to the associations Bulle d’Air (Joker association) and D’un Corps à l’Autre, which support children with disabilities. Information and team registration are available on the Lions Club website.
On Thursday, November 19, the Town Hall of Le Pecq will host "DuoDay". The concept is simple: pair a person with a disability with a volunteer professional for a day of discovery in a company. Several city agents are participating, illustrating the importance of inclusion through work.
On Friday, November 20, a "Gourmet and Solidarity Break" will be offered with the Atelier Gourmand. The food truck, run by workers from the ESAT Les Néfliers de Fourqueux (Apei association), will be present in the parking lot in front of the town hall from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm, offering fish and chips, hot dogs, and sweet crepes, thus supporting adapted work.
In 2027, on Wednesday, January 20, Le Quai 3 will present a play by the Mélodia company. This company is composed mainly of actors with disabilities. The performance, scheduled for the afternoon, is for the children of the "Les 4 Saisons" leisure center, local seniors, and anyone interested. Reservations are mandatory at 01 30 61 66 18.
