In France, 61,214 new cases of breast cancer were diagnosed in 2023, according to the National Cancer Institute (Inca). This disease, which predominantly affects women, remains the leading cause of cancer-related death among them. The month of October is dedicated to prevention, early screening, and research support.
In Bailly and Noisy-le-Roi, several events are planned for this 2026 edition. Throughout the month, donation boxes will be available at local shops to collect donations. A raffle is also organized by the association Métamorph’Oz, with numerous prizes to be won, including an annual membership worth 350 euros. The draw will take place on Monday, November 2, at 7 PM. The program includes various workshops and events: a self-defense workshop for women and teenagers aged 15 and over, led by a Krav Maga instructor, will be held on Saturday, October 3, from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Métamorph’Oz premises in Bailly. From October 5 to 10, golf sessions are offered at the Noisy-le-Roi golf course, in partnership with the association Golf en Val de Gally. Prize giving will be on Saturday, October 10, at 5:30 PM.
Other activities include: a conference « General Information » on Monday, October 5, at 2 PM in Noisy-le-Roi, organized by the AVF association. On Wednesday, October 7, a life drawing session led by Camille Raveau will take place in Noisy-le-Roi from 7 PM to 9 PM. A friendly ApéRose (Rose Aperitif) is offered on Friday, October 9, at the associative café Bah Y’a Quoi in Bailly.
On Saturday, October 10, a charity flower sale (pink kalanchoes) will be held at the Bailly market from 8 AM to 1 PM, with proceeds going to the association Aidons la Recherche. An art therapy workshop is also offered the same day in Noisy-le-Roi. In the afternoon, a tennis activity « le jeu de la vache » will take place at the Sibano stadium in Noisy-le-Roi. The evening will feature the election of Miss Noisy-le-Roi at 8 PM followed by a karaoke at 9:15 PM.
On Sunday, October 11, the Bailly town hall is organizing the « Les Tours de la Victoire » (Tours of Victory) foot race from 9 AM to 12:30 PM, with various sports activities. A concert by the choir of the association Cèdre Loisirs is scheduled for 3:30 PM at the Bailly theater. In Noisy-le-Roi, the association EDNB is offering barre au sol (floor barre) and contemporary dance classes starting at 5 PM.
On Tuesday, October 13, a round table on « cancer and work » will be held in Noisy-le-Roi at 2 PM, organized by the association Arcade Emploi. On Saturday, October 17, a dictation event is offered in Noisy-le-Roi from 10 AM to 12:30 PM by the association Le Rond-Point. The Bailly theater will host readings for children/teens at 11 AM and a play « Un doute valable » (A Valid Doubt) at 8:30 PM, organized by the association Le Rideau Rouge.
To conclude the program, an improv cabaret and a dinner show are planned for Saturday, November 7, at 7:30 PM in Noisy-le-Roi, organized by the association Le Rideau Rouge in collaboration with other associations.
The towns of Bailly and Noisy-le-Roi thank the associations and partners mobilized for this October Rose edition, emphasizing the collective commitment to advance research and fight breast cancer.
