The towns of Verneuil-sur-Seine and Vernouillet, in collaboration with Grand Paris Seine et Oise, are launching a public consultation from November 1st to 15th to gauge residents' opinions on the introduction of shared electric bikes and scooters.

The central question of this consultation is straightforward: are you for or against the installation of these new shared mobility options in your town? This initiative is part of a broader reflection on mobility, particularly in anticipation of the upcoming arrival of the RER E (Eole) line in the area.
The service proposed by GPS&O, in partnership with operator VOI, is already available in 12 municipalities within the urban community, including Les Mureaux, Poissy, Meulan, Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, and Andrésy. This service currently operates with approximately 1,000 vehicles, comprising 700 scooters and 300 electric bikes.
Citizens will have the opportunity to voice their opinions online via the 'Espace Citoyens' platform, under 'Mes démarches en ligne', as well as in person at the town hall. The consultation will run from November 1st to 15th, 2026. Additionally, a public meeting is scheduled for November 9th at 7 PM at the Espace Maurice-Béjart to discuss the matter.
Both municipalities are committed to considering the residents' feedback when making their final decision regarding the implementation of this mobility service.
