The Institut Polytechnique de Paris, through Hi! PARIS, and Capgemini are intensifying their collaboration to develop artificial intelligence for defense and technological competitiveness.

The Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris), via its Hi! PARIS center, and the Capgemini group announce a new phase of their collaboration focused on artificial intelligence (AI). This initiative aims to place research at the heart of major challenges for France and Europe, particularly in the fields of defense, competitiveness, and technological sovereignty.
Capgemini, a founding patron of Hi! PARIS since 2020, renews its commitment to research combining academic and industrial expertise. This collaboration is structured around two main axes.
The first axis concerns the application of AI to defense. Researchers from École polytechnique and ENSTA will work on developing systems of drones and robots capable of interacting through embedded AI while remaining under human control.
The second program, titled 'Competitiveness & Sovereignty,' will be led by HEC Paris. It will explore the effects of AI and data technologies on businesses, particularly regarding automation, technological dependencies, and strategic autonomy.
These new directions extend six years of fruitful partnership, during which Capgemini has contributed to Hi! PARIS's research, training, and innovation activities, notably in the fields of intelligent robotics and mathematical optimization.
Labeled an IA-Cluster within the framework of France 2030, Hi! PARIS thus reaffirms its ambition to advance cutting-edge artificial intelligence, serving research, industry, and major societal challenges.
