The Territorial Professional Health Communities (CPTS PEPS) and the Agglomeration Community of Étampois Sud-Essonne have launched an initiative where children from leisure centers become oral health ambassadors for residents of nursing homes (EHPAD).

The idea is to create an intergenerational link around prevention. Since the beginning of the year, three meetings have already taken place. Children from the leisure center in Mérévillois visited the Tournebride EHPAD. Those from the leisure center in Morigny-Champigny interacted with residents of the Chalouette EHPAD. Finally, children from the leisure center in Pussay met residents of the Le Centenaire EHPAD, also in Pussay.
After learning good oral hygiene practices, the children pass on this knowledge to the elderly. These exchanges are accompanied by activities and convivial moments, fostering the sharing of experiences between generations.
