Claudine Gabriel des Bordes will share her memories of her Périgord and Guadeloupean origins. Marked by the history of her ancestors' exile, she has chosen to pass on this memory through music and song. Since the age of 8, she has performed Negro Spirituals with her sisters, songs born from the history of deported Africans. Their talent led them to perform in France and then internationally, alongside great artists.
Settling in Saint-Germain-lès-Corbeil in 1973, Claudine founded the choir Résonances and the duo Les Capresses with her sister Françoise.
The event will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 8 PM to 10 PM, at the Théâtre Jean Vilar. Admission is free, and reservations can be made at the cultural service at 06 25 21 19 19.
