The sporting event La Nocty Saintry once again attracted many VTT enthusiasts, bringing together 124 participants for a night ride focused on sport and camaraderie. This edition confirms the event's appeal.
The event gathered cyclists of all ages, with the oldest participant being 77 years old and the youngest only 10 years old. Riders came from across the Paris region, as well as from further afield cities like Sens and Puiseaux.
Two routes were offered: a 19-kilometer circuit for 15 participants and a 39-kilometer route chosen by 109 cyclists. Participants navigated the trails by the light of their headlamps, enjoying a unique nocturnal atmosphere enlivened by music from the Club de la Bonne Humeur.
A refreshment stop was provided on the 39-kilometer route. The last participants arrived around 11:30 PM.
Upon arrival, organizers offered a welcome treat with savory and sweet crepes, drinks, and an onion soup, extending the evening in a relaxed and warm atmosphere.
The event's success is due to the hard work of the volunteers from the organizing club, who managed course preparation, logistics, refreshment stations, and reception. The Mairie de Saintry-sur-Seine commends their commitment.
