For the National Day of Local Commerce (JNCP) held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, the town of Bois-Colombes chose to honor its local merchants, artisans, restaurateurs, and entrepreneurs. An appeal was made to continue supporting these establishments, particularly those affected by the Grand Paris construction.
Local purchasing was highlighted as a way to support shopkeepers, preserve the diversity of offerings, and contribute to the town's vitality. This day provided an opportunity to rediscover local businesses.
On Place Gabriel-Péri, a market featuring 12 local creators was set up. Shopkeepers on Rue des Bourguignons displayed their stalls outdoors. A fun activity organized by Shoop City allowed residents to win gift vouchers, making the day more convivial and festive. A jazz band also paraded through the streets, stopping in front of numerous businesses.
The municipality expressed its thanks to the shopkeepers for their mobilization and enthusiasm, which contributed to the event's success. The association BoisandCo was also thanked for its participation.
The importance of every visit, purchase, and recommendation was emphasized as essential support for local businesses and the town's life, encouraging the continued promotion of local commerce throughout the year.
