On Saturday, October 10th, the Quincy-Voisins stadium hosted a regional women's football match. The players from the Union Sportive de Quincy-Voisins (USQV) achieved a brilliant 3-1 victory against Maisons-Alfort. A sale of pink ribbons was organized during the event, with proceeds going to breast cancer research.
The local tennis club also showed its support with friendly and convivial matches, gathering amateurs and experienced players. A donation drive was held to benefit the AVACS.
On Sunday, October 11th, the CCAS organized sports activities, including muscle strengthening and Zumba, at the town hall's party room, delighting participants of all ages. These activities were free with donations encouraged for the AVACS.
Concurrently, the choir « Les Voix si, les Voix là » held a concert at the church, organized by the CCAS. An information stand on breast cancer awareness was available, attended by Isabelle Rousseau, Deputy Mayor for CCAS, Annie Marre, Deputy Mayor for Associative Life, and Katy Landicheff, Deputy Mayor for Youth. Donations were voluntary and intended to support the AVACS.
Congratulations to the USQV players for their victory and to the tennis club participants for their involvement in this solidarity initiative. A big thank you to all participants, donors, organizers, and associations for their mobilization and commitment during Pink October. All funds raised will be donated to the AVACS in December.
