In June 1940, as France collapses and signs the armistice, one man refuses to yield. This then-unknown general escapes to London to save the dream of freedom. Without an army or hope, but driven by a deep conviction, he attempts to convince the world that the battle for France is not lost.
Gradually, resistors rally around him in England, France, and Africa. Rebellious high school students, determined soldiers, their faith, audacity, and rage for freedom defy a history that seemed predetermined.
Directed by Antonin Baudry, the film stars Simon Abkarian, Simon Russell Beale, and Florian Lesieur. It is rated "All Audiences".
