The RIVP is continuing the transformation of the Chapelle Charbon district in Paris's 18th arrondissement, with progress on two construction projects: 78 social rental units and 7 commercial spaces in Lot C, and 32 homes under the Bail Réel Solidaire (BRS) scheme in Lot A.

Construction is progressing on Lot C, which will include 78 social rental units and 7 commercial spaces. A presentation of a model unit took place on Tuesday, November 3rd, attended by teams from RIVP, the Lamarck agency, and project partners. Architecture firms Villemard Associé and Heros Architecture, along with company Eiffage Construction Habitat, detailed the construction progress. This program, primarily composed of T3 and T4 units, will feature 8 duplex live-work studios. Particular attention has been paid to opening up to the adjacent park, with amenities like balconies and terraces. Solid stone is a primary material, contributing to the building's thermal performance and sustainability, alongside wood and low-carbon concrete. These homes are expected to be completed by the end of 2027.
Concurrently, RIVP is developing Lot A, comprising 32 family homes offered under the Bail Réel Solidaire (BRS) scheme, a program designed to control property ownership costs. This project, designed by architecture firms Palast and GrandHuit, emphasizes bio-sourced materials, particularly wood and insulation made from chopped straw. A meeting with potential buyers was held this summer. The inauguration of these homes is scheduled for the 3rd quarter of 2027.
These two operations, totaling 110 homes, reflect a shared ambition: to develop a diverse and accessible housing offer, incorporating strong requirements for usability and sustainable construction, with low-carbon architecture utilizing wood, straw, and solid stone.
