The École du Louvre is launching a call for applications for its free "Equality of Opportunity" internship, which will take place from February 14 to 20, 2027, in Paris. Aimed at final-year high school students, this program seeks to prepare them for the institution's entrance examination.

Since 2006, the École du Louvre, in partnership with the Fondation Culture & Diversité, has organized this intensive internship annually. The objective is to enable students to confirm their interest in art history, prepare for the entrance exam, and maximize their chances of success.
For one week, the 35 selected students will benefit from courses focused on methodology, general knowledge, and written expression, as well as practical work in front of artworks and visits to heritage sites. Instruction will be provided by professors from the École du Louvre.
This internship is entirely free. Transportation, youth hostel accommodation, and catering costs are covered by the Fondation Culture & Diversité and partner institutions. It is open to final-year high school students attending a public high school in metropolitan France or overseas territories, who are studying "History of Arts" and are scholarship holders or attending a partner institution. Selection will be based on social, academic, and motivational criteria, prioritizing young people from modest backgrounds or those distant from culture.
Applications are open until November 13, 2026. The application includes an online form, an assessment form from an Art History teacher, parental authorization, a letter of commitment, high school transcripts for French, and a scholarship notification or parents' tax notice. Selection results will be announced at the end of November 2026.
