Three years after its launch, Foncière Centres-Villes Vivants, chaired by Patrick Ollier, confirms its essential role for the mayors of the Métropole du Grand Paris. The organization, established in 2023, now assists over 90 towns in reclaiming their city centers. In three years, it has approved the acquisition of 78 commercial properties, with 36 already secured, aiming to promote the return of local businesses.
During the board meeting on October 15, 2026, chaired by Patrick Ollier and attended by Hervé Chevreau, Mayor of Epinay-sur-Seine, four new projects were approved, covering nine commercial properties. These projects involve acquisitions in Bondy (93), Juvisy-sur-Orge (91), Charenton-le-Pont (94), and Fontenay-sous-Bois (94), at the request of their respective mayors.
Marine Onfray, the company's CEO, has been reappointed for a three-year term to continue this mission. Patrick Ollier highlighted the Foncière's utility, stating: "Our city centers need local businesses and services useful for daily life. [...] Three years later, the Foncière has proven its usefulness: 36 acquired shops, 78 acquisitions validated, and above all, streets that are coming back to life." The goal is to contribute to the revitalization of 400 shops in 10 years.
Founded by the Métropole du Grand Paris and several financial and consular partners, Foncière Centres-Villes Vivants offers comprehensive support to municipalities. It acquires, renovates, markets, and manages commercial properties over time, providing real estate expertise and financial support to towns facing the decline of their urban commercial fabric. The investment target is nearly 140 million euros over 10 years.
