In early October 2026, the National Superior School of Architecture of Paris-Belleville is offering a rich program of events. On Friday, October 2nd, a conference titled "Transmettre" (To Transmit) will take place at 6 PM in the Bernard Huet amphitheater, organized on the occasion of the departure of Jérôme Habersetzer, Virginie Picon-Lefebvre, and Philippe Prost from the school.
The following week, on Tuesday, October 6th, a conference "Faire la ville avec les vivants" (Making the City with the Living) will be given by Léa Mosconi at 7 PM, at the François Villon Library, located at 81 boulevard de la Villette.
Thursday, October 8th, will feature two events. At 1:30 PM, the IPraus Documentary Research Center will host a roundtable discussion for the presentation of the book "Les controverses Bruno Latour. Enquête dans les mondes de l’architecture." (Bruno Latour Controversies: An Investigation into the Worlds of Architecture). The event will bring together authors Léa Mosconi and Margaux Darrieus, discussant Yannik Gourvil, and will be moderated by Patrick Henry. Later that day, at 7 PM in the Bernard Huet amphitheater, the public can attend the conference "En quête de légèreté" (In Search of Lightness) by engineer and architect Raphaël Ménard.
On Monday, October 12th, a discussion moderated by Françoise Fromonot will take place at 12:30 PM on the mezzanine. It will focus on the investigation by American historian and critic Lytle Shaw concerning the headquarters of the French Communist Party, designed by Oscar Niemeyer. The event will be held in English. In the afternoon, at 2:30 PM, a thesis defense by Frédéric Firreri is also scheduled.
As part of the National Architecture Day, on Saturday, October 17th, the school will open its doors from 1 PM to 6 PM. Visits and workshops for children will be organized by the CAUE75.
From October 17th to 31st, an exhibition will showcase the Final Year Projects (PFE) from the second semester of 2026.
On Monday, October 19th, another roundtable discussion will be held at 1:30 PM at the IPraus Documentary Research Center, titled "Rencontre autour de ma thèse" (Meeting about my thesis), with guest Quentin Clémence.
On Tuesday, October 20th, a roundtable discussion will explore "Le logement social à Paris et à New-York : deux visions, un patrimoine" (Social Housing in Paris and New York: Two Visions, One Heritage) at 7 PM in the Bernard Huet amphitheater.
Thesis defenses will continue with that of Sarah Blouin on Monday, October 26th.
Finally, on Friday, October 30th, a public lecture, "Une écoute active" (Active Listening), will be offered by Chloé Bodard, a graduate of Ensa-PB and founder of the agency Compagnie d'architecture. The event will take place from 4 PM to 6 PM in the Bernard Huet amphitheater.
