On the occasion of World CleanUp Day, celebrated this Saturday, September 19, sixty volunteers mobilized in Esbly. The objective was to participate in a large waste collection operation, an initiative led by Val d’Europe Agglomération in partnership with the 10 municipalities of the territory.
This annual citizen mobilization aims to raise awareness about the amount of waste abandoned in our environment and to highlight the importance of preserving our living space. Great praise was given to all participants, especially the children for their commitment.
Following the operation, participants shared a convivial moment. They then joined the "World Village," set up this year at the Parc du Château in Coupvray, where various activities and stands were offered focusing on environmental protection.
The call is made to continue acting together for a cleaner city and a preserved environment.
