This Thursday, October 1st, the elected officials of the Brie des Rivières et Châteaux Community of Communes will gather for a new Community Council. The event will be accessible live on the institution's YouTube channel.
The Community Council is the body that brings together the territory's elected officials to make major decisions for the community. These meetings are held at least once per quarter. The 55 councilors and 22 substitutes vote on all matters within the intercommunal scope.
Preparation for these councils involves prior meetings of the Community Bureau, composed of the President of the CCBRC, Christian Poteau, and the Vice-Presidents, to discuss and prepare the agenda items.
