Beyond shopping, these trips become an opportunity to meet and chat. Mme Nestor, a regular user, testifies to the service's importance: “I like meeting the group on Tuesdays, meeting people, and being able to chat during the trip or while shopping. It's also a real relief for my children: I no longer need to ask them to accompany me shopping!” She appreciates the conversations with other passengers as much as the attention of Fabrice, the driver, whom she describes as always kind and attentive. This service is considered a real asset for the town's seniors.
The shuttle operates on Tuesday afternoons, with six pick-up points in town, between 1:40 PM and 1:58 PM. Passengers have about two hours to do their shopping, with a departure from the stores at 4:30 PM.
