The rally, held in memory of Pengo Bossio Wangi, who died in the attack, and in support of his family, the injured child, and all victims, served as a moment of reflection, fraternity, and mobilization.
“"In Nangis, we defend a simple idea: everyone has a place here, regardless of their origins, religion, or history."
The mayor emphasized that racism is never inevitable and that no one should be discriminated against, attacked, threatened, or killed because of their origin, skin color, or religion. She stressed that this commitment must continue daily through words, actions, and collective life, advocating for equality against racism, fraternity against hate, and respect against fear.
The city of Nangis thanked all those who mobilized and who, through their presence, upheld the values of humanity and solidarity.
